So when an Aprilia does the same number of laps as a Honda in the MotoGP, but finishes 60 minutes after the Honda (bear in mind the Honda had a 40 minute pit stop waiting for the Yamaha), why does the Honda still win?

Honestly Oz, if you insist on ignoring everything that the people who have paid the school fees tell you then carry on. I'm done. Enjoy your suspension setup. I'm sure you'll smoke everyone here after it is done

just to add to all this suspension guru kak , once you have set the bike up with the correct springs , you will notice a vast difference , and that is all you will ever need , the rest of the valving cone valves etc etc is only going to save you seconds a lap maybe a minute at the most which the pros need as it seconds they work on . we as average riders will never need that and its a waste of money , set up bike properly with correct springs , then save the rest of the money for a beer and braai , you will smile more

it will cost you double in the long run....

Revalve + oil + seals etc now and then do it all again when you realize you should have done the springs.
It never gets any easier, you just go faster...

Did an africa offroad race this past week end. 150 kays completed in 2 hours 26 minutes. Slowly getting better at the fast stuff.

The terrain was quite varied and had a few choppy sections. I also hit 3 lurkers that stand out. Spotted them too late and throttled them out.

All I can say is Jose worked some decent magic on my bikes set up. And to boot at very little cash in return. The suspension soaked up those lurkers as if they werent there, no bucking or kicking at all.

So if any guys out there are keen to get their bike sorted and dont have the millions for soggy sack and all that stuff. 444 is your place. He knows what he is doing in my opinion.

Now to go try it out on some rocks

    There lies the problem

Just kidding. Its all about a tangible outcome even if its a tik-tak case! Enjoy your new suspension!

    Ha ha ha ha. Fucker

Its not new suspension really hey, just dialled in I guess. But it feels way better. Took a bit of getting used to in the beginning as its quite a bit taller than it was before.

The amazing thing is how he explained the bike probably was before I brought it to him was spot on and how it would be after his work was also spot on.

My hands were quite sore and tingling after that race, but I put it down to holding on a tad tighter as I was going quite a bit faster than Im used to and as mentioned there were sections that were quite choppy.

Not at all. Previous race I hit a few lurkers and it shook me properly. The one whacked me under the chin and I almost went over the bars. None of that this time and I was way quicker. None of the bumps I hit hard this time round sent my bars upwards to my head

    It's definitely way better.
