Hey @Slim. Your post says protiming and regs say racecontrol and enrty is on racecontrol. Hoe bedoel meneer dan nou meneer? I see WOW class is R400. Is there an extra fee for a day licence too? I'm seriously contemplating entering.

If anyone reading this thread hasn't ridden at this venue, I strongly suggest you get your entry in and go ride there, under a controlled atmosphere, on a route that will take you to some of the most amazing riding terrain I've seen in Gauteng.

I've spent the last four Saturdays riding at this venue and if the EWXC wasn't taking place at Wolwekloof tomorrow I would go straight back again.

During our last ride at Piesangkloof, at 3,5km into the ride, we'd already climbed an elevation of 357m or nearly 3x the height ZigZag at Mamelodi Koppies. Admittedly, it took us nearly 2 hours, but I was leading the ride, so we were totally lost and making our own route. Not to mention it was sopping wet and there was very little traction.

Riding in some of the gulleys makes you feel like you're riding a WFO in KZN. It also has one of the most amazing views where you can see old Arrows Rest and current Titans Racing venues from the top of the mountain.

And that is the keyword, mountain. All the other riding venues in our area are classified as hills at an average of about 125m at Dewildt Cop Shop to 140m at Heidelberg. Piesangkloof is technically classified as a mountain because it exceeds 300m in height.

So come on guys, this is a National event, of a sport we all love to do, at one of the most amazing venues I've ever experienced in Gauteng. Let's get some entries in.

Hello buddy, Regs say timing by Pro Timing and register through RaceControl as this is the entry portal for National Enduro. We are aligned with Pro Timing for all our events. Pro Timing is one of 3 approved MSA Timing Systems as they use the TAG Heuer system.

Yes to ride on the day you can acquired the WOW Licence from www.msaonline.co.za for a mere R110 for the day or R330 for the year.

    Hope to see you there.
