No cutoff - all finishers qualify.
Just as long as you made the time bar (14:00) at the DSP (bushmans).

So ... here's the thing. Assuming they limit bronze entries to 200, and they get more than 200 entries, how do they decide who is more deserving of a place? The guys that did the qualifier or the guys who qualify by doing a nat enduro (or other extreme event)?

Everyone who finished the quali or national enduro gets an entry. No limit on entries I assume

    Well done to you guys!

Then you must be that big guy that looks like he will sommer carry his bike around wherever he wants to. I felt sorry for her and it seemed that help was not readily available. That`s why I started asking if their weren't any helpers. I am sure that she was very grateful! Thanks for your time and effort!

[QUOTE=J37;605922]Congrats! First time is quite daunting and has a learning curve to it.
Next time you'll know what to prepare and what to expect, which takes off a boat load of stress.[/QUOTE

Thanks! Yes I am glad I started with the Qualifier.

Qualifying via a National Enduro or other extreme event is qualification for either Silver or Gold Roof. You can only qualify for Bronze via the Bronze Qualifier.

You could also qualify for Bronze if you completed the Lesotho national I think because they were on the same day

are you sure? cant find the regs anywhere but found this on the roof 2019 thread:

Enter silver enduro class and you only have to do 75% of an easier route. Obvious choice and a almost guarenteed place in the bronze roof, the new organizers are certainly opening themselves up to all sorts of abuse. No regs, No permit number yet entries are open, no one even knows how much to pay or anything about the event yet they enter.

Thanks, see they are not limiting the number of applicants for bronze, so that answers my earlier question so it may then be a keyboard race for silver entries

260ish qualified, I'm sure they would love 260 entries in December. Along with another 100 Silver and 100 Gold. They have not been hitting those numbers recently but new blood might invigorate some of the old negative AndyAndyAndyAndys to enter.
