    I think that the change will come because these bikes will be marketed in a way that will make them more acceptable to the broader public. With my e-bike I should be able to ride on Table Mountain. That's going to have some pull.

    No you won't... they are already banning e-mountain bikes from bike parks/trails in america. Apparently it "endangers" the other people there.

    It seems the moment some horsepower starts causing "fun", then it is immedietly deemed bad.

    I predict e-dirtbikes will have exactly the same riding terrain challenges as our gassers.

    There are pages of fights against e-bikes on the cycling forum here locally as well...
    It never gets any easier, you just go faster...

    The people there are so holy about the mountain I doubt that will ever be allowed But how lekker would that be though
