The old roof was 500km + a day and do not make the mistake of thinking it was an off-road event. Anybody who has ridden Letele and Rampai pass which were commonly used in those years will tell you how technical and difficult they are. Try and ride any difficult pass today on the bikes they had then, KDX200, CR250, and some real clever okes even rode 2T CR500's.

I enjoyed the qualifier a lot! flowing and some nice technical bits; quick registration and well marked loops.

Dean, don't be nasty. A talented quad rider can gooi multiple donuts transition into a perfect wheelie with his chick on the back holding 4 double brandy and cokes in each hand and not spill a drop.

Ahhh yes. Track was marked exceptionally well. Found myself thinking about how much paint they had to carry

That quad was an amazing piece of kit!!! He clocked a 165 GPS speed on her on some of the highest points on that ROA.
