The best thing about Porras gat was seeing Fat Fcuk Bailey fall off into the water, looked like that tidal wave and tsunami that hit Indonesia last week

Drill the hole. That part of the frame is more for stability than taking any impact.

I have drilled my YZ in the same place and 12 years later that bike is still 100%.

We all have seen numerous pics of bikes broken in 2 pieces.
Well, most of the ktm's breake at the triple clamps. That should be a bigger worry than 2 holes in a cross member.

Do you want to see something to worry about?????

    Check this out.

This is not a pice from the internet. I am currently busy to try to claim this frame from KTM.

That is most probably one of the strongest parts of the frame.

Go sit next to your bike and have a look at that cross member, it doesn't carry any load, now think like a big boy.
All of a sudden there should be a light bulb above your head, and reaching for the drill should come 100% involuntary.

Was just kidding but that is strange. At least its only like 22k for a new frame these days.

    Got a quote for 19k.

But we have registered a claim with KTM, hope we get lucky on this one.
